A place to pause.
A plan to keep moving.

Storage / Warehouse / Distribution

Goods do not always move straight through. Storage and warehouse planning give cargo a managed step between arrival and onward distribution, with the handling and release requirements understood before it enters that stage.

THE SPACE STAGE

Make the time between movements count.

Useful warehouse arrangements start with knowing what is coming in, how it should be handled and what needs to happen when it leaves. ET Cargo's storage, warehouse and distribution service line brings those three questions together so the next movement can be planned with the stock in mind.

WHAT TO CONSIDER

The details that shape your plan.

Inbound receipt

Discuss arrival volumes, pallet or carton profile, goods condition and any identification or booking information required at the receiving point.

Storage and handling

Define the holding period, space and handling needs, inventory information and any restrictions that may affect the suitability of a facility.

Onward distribution

Plan how stock is released, prepared and handed to the next transport or pallet delivery leg under an agreed instruction.

HOW TO START

From first brief
to a clearer next step.

No two movements are identical. These three conversations help define the right arrangement before work begins.

  1. 01

    Describe the stock

Share cargo type, quantities, packaging, expected arrival pattern and any handling or security considerations.

  2. 02

    Agree the arrangement

Confirm suitable space, responsibilities, records, access and commercial terms for the proposed period.

  3. 03

    Plan release

Specify how and when stock should leave, including destination details and the onward transport handover.

WHEN IT FITS

A useful starting point for...

  • Stock awaiting scheduled onward distribution
  • Freight moving between inbound and outbound legs
  • Shipments needing a coordinated warehouse-to-delivery handover

GOOD TO KNOW

Frequently asked
questions.

What details help define a storage enquiry?

Cargo description, pallet or carton count, dimensions, expected duration, arrival pattern and any special handling or access needs provide a good starting point.

Can storage connect to onward distribution?

Yes. Discuss the receiving and release steps together so that the storage arrangement fits the intended delivery plan. The actual scope is confirmed for each enquiry.

Is general warehouse storage the same as ETSF?

No. Goods held under customs-controlled temporary storage require an appropriate approved arrangement. General commercial storage should not be assumed to provide that status; raise this distinction at the start of your enquiry.

YOUR NEXT MOVE

Let's plan the space between journeys.

Share the basics of your shipment. Scope, availability, compliance responsibilities and timing can then be confirmed for your specific requirements.
